Prof. Biletsky
Semen Biletski was born in 1943. In 1970 he graduated at the Chernivtsi State Medical Institute. In 1970-1972 he was clinical intern of the Internal Diseases Department in this institute. In 1972 he became assistant lecturer in this department. In 1975 he defended the dissertation "Experimental and clinical basis of oxygenotherapy in patients with hepatitis and cirrhosis of the liver" and became candidate of medical sciences. In 1991 S. Biletski started to work in the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Diseases, where in 1994 he defended the dissertation for Medical Doctor's degree "Cardiorenal mechanisms of adaptation in normal state and patients with ischemic disease of the heart (clinical and experimental research)". From 1994 till 1996 Dr. Biletski possessed the position of senior lecturer in the Department of Internal Diseases No. 2 and in 1996 he became professor in the same department. In 1996 he achieved the degree of an assistant professor and in 2001 he achieved the Professor's degree.
Since 2001 Prof. Biletski heads the new Department of Family Medicine at the Bukovinian State Medical University. He published over 160 scientific articles and has four patents. Under his supervision four candidates of medical sciences became medical doctors and three more will defend theirs dissertations in the nearest future. He collaborates with Pharm PlanNet - Ukraine Clinic Ltd. since 2001.
Since 2001 Prof. Biletski gained experience as investigator in clinical trials.
